Here are on-foot images of the Kobe A.D. NXT. This has more of a lifestyle shoe vibe with the silhouette taking some design elements of a performance model in mind. What is very obvious here is the overlay on the midfoot area covering the lacing system which looks like a bungee cord material. It extends its way to the heel area and I really don't think lockdown will be its best feature although we really don't know exactly how it plays out unless you wear it on court. But of course, this is more of an off-court shoe so testing them is unlikely. With regards to the cushion, it looks like a dual-foam setup but we will just have to wait for more info when Nike decides to spill it out in the open. These are set to release on April 3, 2017 for $200, and with that price point, I'm hoping that comfort would be put into consideration.
