Nike Counter Offers to KD

With all the news that circulated the past month regarding Kevin Durant's sneaker contract with Nike, I think it is safe to say that the KD line will continue with the swoosh brand. If case you didn't know, KD's contract with Nike ended and with that small time frame, Under Armour had been able to pitch their offer. Of course, Nike has an option to make an counter offer and it looks like Kevin Durant is staying with the brand together with Lebron and Kobe.

I personally think whatever the outcome is, it's a win-win situation for Kevin Durant. The KD line is a great shoe in terms of performance and I think he could carry Nike's brand in the future since we don't know how long the Kobe line will continue to flourish so Nike has to invest on players that run the present generation of NBA basketball.
