Best Foot Forward: Nike Mamba Instinct

For today's Best Foot Forward, I will be showing you the KB Mentality 3. However, Nike rebranded it the Mamba Instinct (post Kobe Bryant's NBA career). I got this at Toby's Sports Trinoma and was able to post it on kixspotted. I copped a pair and really can't wait to play in these. But for those of you who want to know the tech specs, Nike included some sort of tech sheet inside the box and this is a nice move since this would easily help people who are into the techs involved in the shoe.

It says:
"Mamba Instinct. Inspired by the most focused, hardworking, and relentless player the game has seen. The legendary Kobe Bryant personifies the ultimate blend of mental and physical preparation. This shoe is designed for the player looking for a competitive advantage from their footwear to stay a step ahead of the rest. "

Then there's a diagram of the shoe with 3 main features:

1. FIT Flyweave upper with forefoot TPU yarns that provides a 1:1 fit.
2. RESPONSIVE Internal Lunarlon midsole provides soft and responsive cushioning.
3. CONTROL Micro thread outsole pattern provides adaptable traction.

So there you have it guys. My suggestion is getting your true size or trying them on in store. It has a low-cut profile and you really need to get the right fit. It feels snug with some modified eyelets for a more secured fit. I think the upper needs some breaking of some sort so that the Flyweave would be able to flex nicely. This is just from a quick try on. Lastly, the Lunarlon drop-in midsole gives you that step in comfort.

I am really excited to play in them and while I am not used to play in lows, the secured fit would likely throw away my worries. These are still available at Toby's Sports in Trinoma for Php 5,295.
