For this year's Chinese New year, 4 models from the adidas originals line namely the NMD R2, Campus, EQT Support ADV, and Superstar 80s will represent to collection. A light shade upper with red accents is pretty minimal but the red highlight really sets color scheme just right. The Campus and EQT ADV had some gold accents as well for some added touch. On the heel of each model has an assigned Chinese symbol which represents the "Chinese Four Blessings" (I'm sure most Chinese people knew the meaning of those symbols) and all them will have an exclusive bamboo hangtag to represent the collection. Overall, the collection is pretty simple but nice but some might think of it as a step back from the usual red uppers with gold accents or trimmings which are quite loud sometimes. I guess it all depends on the person's preference whether they want subtlety or they really want a more noticeable shoe. Anyway, the said collection will drop this January 13, 2018 globally.
