When the adidas Crazy BYW X was seen on the court, you already know what adidas has in store for us in terms of the next in the Boost foam. We know the wonders that it does so incorporating it to a retro silhouette and doing some tweaks here and there gave birth to the Crazy BYW X (Click HERE). Now, adidas Originals will be doing a lifestyle version of the silhouette calling it the Crazy BYW. In case you didn't know yet, this is a revamp of the FYW or Feet You Wear tech that was popular in the 90's when Kobe Bryant started his NBA career. The result was the popular pod-shaped midsole/outsole design where the Boost foam is located. You can also see from the upper materials that this model is intended for casual use since it focuses on lightweight feel, breathability, and comfort like the use of mesh neoprene and other soft materials. It is also worth noting that since this is a lifestyle shoe, some of the support pieces are absent like that forefoot wrap in the midsole for stability when comparing it to the Crazy BYW X. I think this is nice step in moving forward while still paying homage to something that helped propel adidas back in the day.
