kixspotted: Peak Snake

If you are looking for some budget kicks from Chinese brand, Peak, then you are lucky since I've stumbled this model called Peak Snake. Check out the in-store footage as well as my thoughts down below.

The Peak Snake is one of the many budget models from Peak basketball. Each of those models have something different to offer, but in essence the materials used are not premium hence the low price. For this particular model, we can see that the shoe was intended to be lightweight and breathable with the use of mesh and fuse overlays which you can clearly see in the lateral aspect of the shoe. Even the tongue is made up of open mesh or overlapping mesh materials with large sieve on top. On the toebox and side panels, you can also see the mesh vents which makes it breathable and light. To give some structure, synthetic leather was used on the medial side. And yes, there is also some sort of vent on that side as well. The cushion is made up of EVA which is resilient and reliable to give adequate impact protection. Underneath is a gum outsole  and depending on the colorway, you can get a solid rubber option. The good news is aside from it being less than Php 3,000 its regular price, these are now being offered at a lower cost (Php 2,396) which is now available at Olympic Village in SM North Edsa.
