#kixspotted Nike LeBron Soldier XIII

Here are some in-store footages of the Nike LeBron Soldier XIII. You can check out the video that I made or read through my detailed look on the shoe.

It features a ripstop upper and it really reminds me of our uniform in CAT/ROTC back in the day. It feels durable and since it is basically textile, you wouldn't need too much break-in time. There are some fuse overlays to ensure the upper doesn't rip easily. There are some synthetic leather and suede panels as well which adds some durability as well. However, I am not just a fan of that synthetic suede material because it feels cheap. They should just have done a synthetic leather only since it is also thick enough to provide rigidness or structure in the ankle/heel area.

The strap system has been a staple in the Soldier line replacing the use of traditional laces. It's back and this time around, 2 large straps were used in the forefoot area as well as in the ankle area. It has a boot-like construction so your feet wouldn't pop out of the shoe easily and also there are a lot of padding inside the shoe to promote a more snug fit. Each strap has a buckle-like piece to fine-tune the lockdown that the strap provides. Cushioning is made up of a large volume Zoom Air in the forefoot and heel area. Zoom Air when done right will provide the responsiveness that you need and since this has a large volume bag inside, you can really feel it inside. Finally, the outsole is made up of a solid rubber with herringbone traction pattern.  Herringbone is tried and tested to provide optimum grip and the good thing is that the rubber it thick enough to withstand outdoor  balling as well.

You can grab them now at Nike Park Trinoma for Php 7,195.
