Best Foot Forward: World Balance Templar

 

If you love World Balance Invictus, you will surely love these as well. Today, I will be talking about the World Balance Templar. So without further ado, let's go ahead and check out the shoe.

I consider these the more "sporty" cousin of the Invictus just because they somewhat share some similarities and those similarities are what makes the Invictus and this a great shoe. I would say that the word "athleisure" would be the best category of this silhouette should you want to classify it. Let's start with the upper material which is made of a 1-piece knit. It feels stretchy and would allow some good amount to enter the shoe to keep your feet fresh. Wearing the shoe is very quick and easy because of the pull tab at the back of the ankle collar area and the collar itself stretches so you can slide your feet quickly. The upper itself is also soft and stretchy so to make the shoe more durable especially in the toe, a thin fuse panel was used just for some added protection. Speaking of security and protection, they add some reinforcements in the lacing area to somewhat give the shoe some structure in case you want to wear it on light training workouts. It would not offer superb support because you have to keep in mind that this is still an athleisure shoe but it will give you that support that you need if you are a type of person who is always on the go and would like to have a durable, comfortable, and stylish shoe to wear.

For me, the thing that I love with this shoe is the cushioning. This is also the reason why I love the Invictus. I said earlier in my previous blog post that I am the type of person who favors cushion and the cushioning used here is great. World Balance used the same tooling and the same EVA foam compound  as the Invictus which is injected molded EVA. The foam is airy and together with their Bounce Pad Insole System that offers good step-in comfort, I can say I wouldn't have any problem rocking this on a whole day doing work, errands, and other things because I know that my feet will be comfortable. That's the good thing about injected-molded EVA especially when they make it this airy or fluffy feeling, you will be sure that your feet will be comfortable. From the midsole to the outsole, it will be pretty much the same as the Invictus so you will have a TPU piece below for torsional support and the same rubber outsole which makes the shoe look very trendy.
