#kixspotted adidas Harden Vol. 5
I've spotted James Harden's latest signature shoe with adidas. The adidas Harden Vol. 5 features what they are calling "Futurenatural" technology which is essentially how they constructed the shoe. Starting from the upper, they were able to make a seamless shoe incorporating the upper with the midsole. The result, according to adidas is superior lockdown -- maybe because they were able to make the shoe essentially a one-piece material. For cushioning, a combination of adidas' current cushioning technology was used which is Lightstrike as the foam carrier and Boost. Both cushioning techs were used in previous Harden signature shoes individually but never together. Personally, I wonder how it will work. I always felt that Lightstrike has a low-to-the ground ride, while Boost could either be fluffy as pillows or it could also a bit firmer, depending on the amount of Boost pellets used. I wish it could be a balance of both to the point that it could be as comfy as Bounce cushioning (maybe a better version of it.) As for colorways, 2 colors were available at the adidas store in Trinoma. I like the black colorway more, as it is more appealing to me. You know me, I am a fan of black-based colorway. Anyway, if you are planning to cop a pair, they retail for Php 7,000. For more images, you can check them down below.
