#kixspotted Nike KD 14 Aunt Pearl
The Aunt Pearl colorway makes its way on the Nike KD14 and here are some detailed images that I took at Sports Central in SM North Towers. The Aunt Pearl colorway has always been a staple on the KD signature line since the KD IV, paying respect and honoring KD's aunt who died of cancer. Also, if I am not mistaken, I think a part of the proceed of the shoe goes to Kay Yow cancer fund. The name of Aunt Pearl is visible on the tongue of the left pair written in gold color. There is also a Kay Yow (pink ribbon branding on the inside of the tongue) logo to give proper representation as well. Decked in pink color blocking, they were able to give different shades of pink on the shoe as seen on the upper and on the midsole. The textile upper helps in making the pink not too monochromatic. Even the midfoot strap is colored pink and a Nike swoosh branding in white to give some contrast. The speckles on the midsole is also a nice touch if you ask me. The heel area of the shoe has another lighter shade of pink and carries that angel's wings design. The tech specs is pretty much the same as the regular KD 14 so nothing to say too much but if you love the cushioning setup of the 14 which is full-length Zoom Air and Cushlon midsole carrier, then you will love this too.
