World Balance Luminary

 

Today's Flashback Friday post features a somewhat retro-looking sneaker from World Balance. In fact, the way they market this shoe, they place it near a retro gaming console that carries a familiar color blocking just like this. I know this World Balance Luminary isn't really latest release. But since Father's Day is up ahead, maybe you would want to surprise your dad or someone with a sneaker that would instantly bring them back in the day (especially this particular colorway).

Made from nylon mesh and some suede panels, even the material build of the shoe is a call back on how shoes were made back then which is nylon and some leather panels. The rubber cup outsole is pretty versatile and makes the shoe low and lightweight, ideal for easy wearing. Comfort won't be a problem since there is a Bounce Pad Insole system found inside the shoe to provide good amount of step-in comfort. There are 2 other colorways for you to choose from in case you want a dark-based colorway. But for me personally, that basic white with beige accent really gives that nostalgic vibes. The good news is they are very affordable retailing for Php 1,499. Is your dad too groovy for this and have a more modern taste when it comes to sneakers? Don't worry there are other models at various World Balance store that cater to a more modern looking silhouettes like the World Elevation or the very popular World Balance Invictus just to name a few.
