You really have to applaud Nike for continuing their initiative to help lessen waste in our planet. Whether it's a lifestyle shoe or this basketball performance sneaker, the Nike Cosmic Unity.  Made from at least 20% recycled materials, the overall look and build of the shoe still looks nice. A combination of different textile materials can be seen in the upper makes it very modern as well. The material itself is somewhat think so durability will not be compromised and might last you for quite some time (depending on your usage of course). The large holes or perforations on the tongue adds breathability as well so it's this small design features that adds performance benefits. Speaking of benefits, the rubber piece can be seen extending up to the sides of the midfoot in the form of the swoosh branding. This rubber piece also acts as midfoot cage offering more support especially for curls and quick stops. The midsole is composed of phylon foam and Zoom Air strobel putting your feet closer to the main cushion source (feet - insole - Zoom Air strobel). Finally, a solid rubber was used offering a multi-directional traction pattern. It is not too thin nor thick so you can periodically bring these to outdoor courts in case you want to ball in these outside. For a retail price of Php 8,095 you can get them at Toby's SM North Edsa. Be on a look out though, because there are times that they are putting these on sale and copping them on a discounted price could be money well-spent.
