Another option for the Giannis line is the Immortality especially if you are on a budget. I've spotted some Immortality 3 during my last visit at the mall. Now on its third year, the overall look of the silhouette is pretty much similar from the previous years so if you are well acquainted with the look then this won't be a shocking in terms of looks. Even the material makeup of the shoe is almost intact being made from textiles with sone leather panels here and there. I think it is a classic example of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."After all, it also helps with maintaining the right price range which makes people consider buying it aside from its good performance. Speaking of performance, the cushion that they used is phylon (I think). Even at Nike's website, they didn't specify exactly the name of the foam but I think it is a blend of EVA (or phylon since this is Nike). The good thing about this is it is still light and still has a good amount of impact protection. I have seen a lot of people rocking the Giannis Immortality whether it is on a basketball court or even at the gym for workout sessions. It just shows that the shoe is pretty versatile. In the support department, the ankle collar is padded and there are even reinforcements on the lacing system to somewhat harness your feet inside the shoe especially if you tie your laces well. Underneath is a rubber outsole with multi-directional traction pattern composed of nubs and lines. While the longevity of the rubber would really depend on the surface you use them on, the rubber isn't too thin so maybe you can also use these outdoors although maybe on not too aggressive surfaces since the lines are somewhat thin so they might get chewed up easily if you use them outdoor heavy.
