#kixspotted adidas Crazy 8
It is good to know that adidas to continue to celebrate Kobe's legacy by releasing this silhouette. If you grew up in the 90's, chances are you know that this silhouette is one of the best models that Kobe rocked when he was with adidas. This is also the time when adidas featured their Feet You Wear technology together with the Torsion System. The Feet You Wear technology is basically an outsole pattern that mimics the foot's pressure point where you would probably need traction the most. So that combined with the herringbone traction pattern would really made the whole marketing strategy create enough buzz. Also the addition of their Torsion System which protects the midfoot from over flexing makes the shoe great since you mostly sit low to the ground due to its thin midsole. There are some "Kobe" design elements left like the number 8 on the throat of the shoe. Also the usage of the lacing system to where they incorporated the 3 stripes is still very nice to look even up to now. I did not have the chance to own a pair of these when they first release but as far as I can remember the look, except for the obvious ones that adidas removed like the more obvious Kobe design elements, these are pretty similar to the OGs. Another good thing is that they used nubuck or suede leather depending on the colorway really makes the shoe very premium. It is thick enough as well so chances are this would last for quite some time if you plan to rock these casually. If you want to use this for playing basketball, I would say that you are still fine with this shoe especially if you are the type of player who prefers court feel and responsiveness. So head over now at the adidas Brand Center at Glorietta to get you hands on these great kicks which retails for Php 8,500.
