Here is another local brand that I've spotted over the weekend. The name of the brand is Finn Cotton. Actually, I've been seeing this brand more online particularly in Facebook and Instagram and I am surprised that they have a physical store in SM North Edsa. According to the staff there, that is already the second branch, with the first on Ayala Mall Manila Bay. Anyway, upon seeing their store, I decided to check out what they have in store and found this model which according to their staff is called Graffiti 2.5. The look is very modern, in fact a lot of them are on the "fashiony" side in the sense that if you want to stand out in the crowd a bit because of your footwear, then some of their kicks might be a good choice to rock. It is also chunky which a lot of people love to wear nowadays because it adds height even for just a couple of centimeters. It features a knit upper primarily with some leather panels. The knit is thick enough which gives you a sock-like fit. The shoe still has traditional laces if you want a secured fit. The leather panels acts as accents since most of the panels are printed with colors which also pops especially when looking afar. For the midsole, EVA foam was used which has a good balance of softness without your feet sinking too much. The foam is not too stiff either, which I think would be okay if you wear them throughout the day. Meanwhile, the outsole is made from clear rubber with printed mask designs printed on them. The masks are colorful and adds some style points as well and for me I think is one of the great features on the shoe when we talk of its design elements.
The price is pretty affordable as well. Retailing only for Php 3,499 you get to have a stylish shoe which is also comfortable particularly with that knit upper offering a sock-like and snug fit. The Finn Cotton Graffiti 2.5 comes in 2 colorways, beige and black and I personally lean on the beige colorway since it is kinda neutral and you can easily wear them with almost any combination of clothing style and those designs on the leather panels pop up as well. They are also available online and on their physical store located at SM North Edsa basement near the foodcourt area.
