November is one of those months where some people (e.g. employees) have their 13th month pay already -- or maybe some kind of "bonus". If you are one of those people and would like to buy something for yourself this upcoming Christmas, then maybe you want to check out Toby's Sports as they have some kicks that are on sale like this Nike Lebron NXXT Gen for example. This is a more cheaper option for the Lebron XX but not too much has been stripped from the regular version. The upper on the Lebron NXXT Gen is still textile but a bit less premium looking. Don't get it twisted because it still looks good though. Also an aesthetic feature that is somewhat different is the absence of the 2 big swoosh on the lateral side (where the one swoosh is even protruding out on the upper). For the NXXT Gen version we have 2 swoosh logos but the other one is smaller and the bigger swoosh is stitched completely in the upper. Also the lace jewel found on the laces of the Lebron XX is now found on the heel pull tab on the NXXT Gen. The outsole of the Lebron NXXT Gen features a map of the city of Akron for its traction pattern which I think is a nice story-telling element. For cushioning this time around, the carrier foam is made of phylon with a forefoot and heel Zoom Air unit compared to the Lebron XX Cushlon foam carrier. Personally, I don't think it's too much of a downgrade since the phylon foam used here in the NXXT Gen isn't too bad. It also feels light and not too blocky. Also, the Zoom Air forefoot and heel setup is still there so you will get that responsiveness and court feel that you love from Zoom Air. The shoe has been released a couple of months back, that's why it is already on sale but considering that this still somewhat falls under the main signature line, then this might be great deal if you ask me. When I saw them a couple of days back, these are priced at Php 6,226.50 at Toby's Store in SM The Block in North Edsa.
