This shoe is for those who love to ball in high-tops. One of Nike's well-cushioned shoe, the Nike GT Zoom GT Jump 2 can be purchased at a sale price which I think is great. As I said earlier, this is a high-top cut shoe which is made primarily from woven TPU-like upper so while it is a high-top shoe, the upper materials somewhat still makes it light which I am sure a lot of players love to play in a lightweight shoe. There are some fuse panels as well on high-wear areas particularly on the eyestays. For cushioning, it is made up of Zoom Air in the forefoot and React foam in the heel. According to Nike's website, there is also a "jump plate" inside to give you a sense of springiness in your step. The ankle collar is well padded so those who love to play in high-tops would give you that secured feel in your ankle area. Also that "air bubble" design on the collar area looks dope as well. Sure it does not really have any performance benefits, but Nike made sure that you know that there is some kind of "Air" cushioning on the shoe and in this case it is on the forefoot as evidenced by the pods peeking through. Underneath is a solid rubber outsole with a combination of wavy and a somewhat modified herringbone traction pattern.
