#kixspotted Vans Triple Black Collection

 

Vans recently released some silhouettes that received a triple black treatment. Not only that, but the upper is made from premium leather which for me is big plus since it is also sturdy and more likely could be worn on some "not so formal" occasions in my opinion. Personally, I don't like wearing leather shoes as much as possible since sometimes the leather upper needs some break-in time and the leather sole is kinda slippery since most of these leather kicks do not have rubber soles in them.

Going back to the triple black silhouettes, the Vans Authentic, Sk8 Low, and Old Skool were chosen to be decked out in black leather upper and vulcanized midsole. Even the red Vans logo on the back part of the vulcanized midsole is also in black along with the tag branding that can be seen on the upper and on the tongue of the shoes. Even the eyelets are in black so basically you can easily wear them and some people wouldn't even recognize that you are wearing Vans. I also think that cleaning them would be easier since a quick wipe using a damp cloth would remove the dirt or dust easily against if these were the usual canvas material. However, do note that the outsole on these are your usual gum outsole which I think is still okay. I mean, you can't go wrong with gum outsoles since you still want your Vans to grip the floor right? For pricing, the Authentic retails for Php 5,998 while the Old Skool and Sk8 Low retails for Php 6,498 which you can get at Vans stores near you.
