The Fila Heritage Beefy takes on a modern look having that bulky dad shoe vibe. While it looks bulky, weight isn't an issue because it is light thanks to the synthetic leather upper. The blue leather panels adds a nice pop to the white main upper. Several Fila brandings can be seen on the sides, tongue, and heel. Overall, I like that it looks very premium especially in this colorway of white/navy blue/red. For the midsole, a lightweight EVA foam was used and it is also part of the outsole as well. Inside the shoe, you will see the Fila Comfort Foam which is a memory foam type insole to give the wearer additional comfort. This shoe is for my father and I know that he likes lightweight but comfortable shoe. This is a lifestyle shoe so you wouldn't need to much support pieces just like other athletic shoes. He just wants a comfortable and lightweight shoe but still looks stylish. To complete the look, underneath is a solid rubber outsole placed in specific areas under the foot where you will need floor grip. As I said earlier, the foam midsole is also a part of the outsole to reduce the weight of the rubber that will be used and it also allows the foam to expand even more to achieve that good comfort underneath.
