I was strolling at the mall particularly in SM North Edsa Department Store and I saw the staff from Peak and he told me that they have new basketball shoe drops so I decided to take a photo and post them in case you are looking for some new kicks. This is from the ever growing Lightning line. Specifically called the Peak Lightning XI TaiChi, it features a synthetic mesh upper which is predominantly made from plastic. This assures that the shoe is lightweight and breathable because of the construction. There are various placements of Peak and Lightning branding which you can find from the photos below. The shoe also have a full-length TPU midfoot support plate to aid in the shoe's stability. For cushioning, the Lightning XI TaiChi features a 3-foam cushion setup. The foam carriers is made from P-Ultralight while TaiChi foam can be found in the heel area and Super P-Motive on the forefoot. Peak is known to use different foams as part of their cushioning and this is great because we get to experience each of their foam's properties even on their mid-tier shoe models. Most brands are using their top cushion setups in their signature or top-tier shoe models, so this move from Peak is always great. Underneath is a solid rubber outsole with a combination of herringbone and some lines to offer a multi-directional pattern.
