World Balance ST3 "Roots" colorway
If you are still looking for the "Roots" colorway of the World Balance ST3, then you can check out the World Balance store in Trinoma as they still have some stocks left there. The features a mesh upper with some fuse overlays on high-wear areas particularly on the toe guard and on the laces (eyestay) for durability. The shoe still has that one-piece bootie knit material underneath the upper to offer a sock-like fit and to keep things lightweight. The Lateral Sway Bar has been replaced by World Balance's Wing Cage which can found on the midfoot part of the shoe. It is made up of a TPU material and act as a lateral support piece for the shoe. For aesthetic purposes, they integrated the World Balance logo there as part of the branding which is a great move as they were able to incorporate their branding on a functioning support piece. For cushioning, S-Ride is still the main cushion source. It looks like Scottie still prefers this foam source as it made its way on his third signature shoe. It is an EVA blend which makes the costing not too high that's why they were able to keep the price on these still very affordable. Underneath, you can see the solid rubber outsole with a circular or radial pattern which they call "Sonic Grip". These 2 points can be seen on the ball of the forefoot as well as on the heel. The retail price on these is Php 3,999 and it looks like World Balance and Scottie Thompson would like to keep true to their word providing a solid signature shoe whose retail price is below the $100 mark. For the colorway itself, it looks clean and would easily match with any jersey color you are wearing.
